Where your data lives

Your data. Your tenant. Full stop.

Most field apps sync your work into a database they own and then rent you access to it. TIMBR Field does not have a database. Every assessment lands in your own Microsoft 365, under infrastructure you already control and trust.

TIMBR Field on a phone syncs through Microsoft Graph directly into the customer's own Microsoft 365 tenant, into SharePoint lists and project files, with no third party database in between. Assessments go from the phone into your SharePoint. No middle database, nothing held on our side.

There is no TIMBR database

Most field apps sync your work into a database they own, and then rent you access to it. We do not do that. Every assessment writes straight into your organisation's own Microsoft 365 and SharePoint, which you already control, already govern and already back up.

Your records arrive as SharePoint list items and files in document libraries. Not an export. Not a copy. The live record.

What that actually means for you

Governed the way you already govern

Permissions, retention, auditing and backup. Every control your organisation puts on SharePoint applies to your tree data automatically. Nothing extra to set up, nothing extra to certify.

An easy answer to a hard question

When a council asks where the data lives, you say "in our own tenant" instead of naming a vendor they have never heard of. That moves a procurement conversation along faster than any feature list.

You cannot be locked in

Your records are SharePoint lists and ordinary files. Stop paying us tomorrow and you lose nothing, because everything is already sitting where it always was. There is no export to beg for.

One set of numbers

Field capture, office reporting and the spatial work all read and write the same records in the same place. No exports between systems, no arguing about which spreadsheet is current.

Where the data physically sits

In the region your Microsoft 365 tenant is already provisioned in. If your tenant is in Australia, your tree data is in Australia. We do not copy it anywhere else and we do not keep a copy.

Sign in uses your existing Microsoft 365 identity, so we never see or hold a password. Authentication is handled by Microsoft, and the permissions your IT team has already set are the permissions that apply.

The full detail is in the privacy policy, and if you work in local government the procurement questions are answered here.

Keep your client data where it belongs

Setup during the beta is done with you against your own tenant, so you can see exactly where every record lands before you commit to anything.
